Oh, the welfare state is very much real. People only starve in third world countries and in the US. However, you neither get your free market utopia where hunger is kept at bay by everybody working. Not in the real world anyway. But I guess a barbarian do not understand that.

Starvation is definitely a problem in the developing. But food insecurity is also an equally troubling problem and also has negative health effects. All due to poverty.

If your fighting about hunger in general then heres a solution, purposely go to prison so you have a bed and something to eat.
Either that or get an education and don’t screw up in life (not always being the case), we shouldn’t have to clean up everyone elses mess. Besides, its one less problem for the future (over population, which leads to lack of food for all of us since Earth’s population grows every day)

It boggles my mind that people are finding ways to attack what you’re doing. The simple fact is that to see poverty and take meaningful action to address is a great act of compassion. It was the archbishop Dom Helder Camara who once remarked: “When I give food the poor, they call me a saint. When I ask why the poor have no food, they call me a Communist.” I see that some of the posters here have went far past that level of depravity.

OK guys, just because someone’s big doesn’t mean they’re properly nourished. Besides, would you want to live on those reserves for days or weeks on end? You’d be a wreck. And some folks have had mobility issues that preclude them from hitting the gym like you or I might have the luxury of doing.
I love the (Google Earth?) zooms in these recent videos. They provide a thematic connection between the locales in which you operate and they also show the oneness of the planet and its people. Nice.
