the carbon tax is not some purposeless tax for the government to swindle in more money. businesses and individuals need some incentive to reduce America’s carbon footprint, which is embarrassingly huge. moreover, the government does not own us–we vote for representatives who pledge to pass bills we want to be passed, or vise-versa. if they are corrupt and disobey their word, we don’t elect them again in the future. you don’t sound intelligent by making stubborn, unsupported claims like that.

lol, Yes, we do vote for representatives who pledge to pass bills, guess what, They all work for the SAME people. Also to prove you wrong, we voted for obama (at least some of us did) because he was going to end the war in afghan and iraq, He send within 6 months of his presidency there would be no more troops there. Now what is he doing? Sending 40,000 more soldiers to go fight and die for a bullshit reason. The government does what it wants. They try to cover it all up, but truth is coming.
