Amnesty Internationals network is built up in such a way that the branch which resides in the country where the violations are taking place isnt allowed to do the protesting. This was implemented to protect the people working for amnesty international but also to make sure that reports were as fair as possible. *pats zevsmd on the head* the world makes so much more sence at times if you have a clue or two =P
