Wow! You’Ve made a complete foul of yourself.
Next time try to give us your opinion without bitching and insulting. It will go through much better and your point will be listen.
Start acting like a grown up, and stop insulting others for no reason. People will respect you and your opinions. Right now I don’t give a shit of your opinion, you’re just a fucking looser!

I wish that all those whom have never experienced war in all it’s pain and struggle would stop posting their ignorant comments about it. This song is about the less then 1 PERCENT of Americans who have enough balls to stand up and fight for freedom!

I am personally a multiple combat veteran of these two wars, Iraq & Afghanistan. So to see those who live in my beloved country bashing the true warriors of our military, YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO THIS GREAT NATION! WE DON’T FIGHT FOR WHAT THE PRESIDDENT SAYS OR OUR GOVERNMENT, WE FIGHT FOR ONE ANOTHER, THAT’S WHY WE FIGHT! SO WE CAN BRING THE MAN TO OUR LEFT & RIGHT HOME WITH US AND NOT GIVE THEIR FAMILIES A MISERABLE FLAG TO REPLACE THEIR LIFE!

chucky, sometimes people just make themselves look like a fool with out meaning to. you the kinda stubborn person who doesnt realize that by you always posting on this video and saying all this crap and putting people down, no one really cares what you have to say. i just wish people would not post on videos like this which are positive to some people with their negativity and disrespect. i like the song and i am a soldier. you dont like it cause your not a soldier. you dont understand it
December 7th, 2009 at 6:22 am
like we do. you just think its stupid and pointless. as a soldier i dont. you dont know what it feels like to have to get outta your basement, outta the comfort of mommy and say, “i might die today, but im gonna do it because its my duty to protect my country and its people.” until you do that you wont understand what this song is saying.

Chuckster, please just keep your opinion to yourself dude, nobody truely cares what you have to say about this song.. Considering the fact that there are multiple soldiers saying this song helps them, im going to go out on a limb and say your wrong and that its not just “useless”…
Your not a soldier, therefore your opinion on the matter is irrelevant.. and just so you know, being good at halo does not make you a soldier..
over and out master chief

thank you for posting this. This is a strong example of how music can validate the sacrifice of those who have undergone the emotions and experiences that come with being deployed and in combat…….thanks for helping americans to understand what soldiers go through for them.

why is everybody flaming everybody in the comments? this video was made to reveal why the troops are real heroes, all while telling us the dangers that they face for us back in the states. this song is about the troops and war, and you let this comment section become a war in itself. everybody is different, so people who are flaming others, grow some fucking balls and see things for what they truly mean.

St. Christopher be with them, may they come home safely, and be among loved ones. And live peacefully in their ending days.

I am going on my next deployment soon and I’ve been in the service for 24+ years.
I know only to well that not everybody is cut out to be in the military and the same holds true for Military Spouses. I have the highest respect for you and your sacrifices. I want you to know that I believe that you are the unsung American Hero. May this holiday season bring you Peace, Comfort, Happiness, and all that you and your family so deserve.
God Bless You

I’ve been on humanitarian missions in Iraq..was there during the Falllujah Push and I supported the 2nd ID in Ramahdi. Volunteered to go back to see for myself if things had changed. Was there for the surge, Saw first hand a 75% drop in violent activities. Now I’m going back…Full Circle you could say.. Part of the planned withdrawal and ready willing to go. There is no draft and your not a dumbass and we don’t do it for the money. It’s our jobs and we’re trained to do what we do.

We are not perfect nor is our nation but we are great and strong and we adapt as a force and as a nation. No one hates war more than we soldiers. I’d rather be at home with my family or gone fishing but it’s a privledge to serve and it’s our duty. We are sworn to defend and defend we will. Let me make one correction; It’s the military spouses who don’t get enough credit. Theirs is the hardest job in the world and they are the true unsung heroes!
